Enclosure Type: The warm, humid climate of its native habitat means that they prefer moderate to high humidity levels, but good ventilation is still necessary to prevent stagnant conditions that could lead to mold or respiratory issues.
Enclosure Size: An acrylic enclosure no smaller than three times your spiders leg span.
Substrate: They are obligate burrowers so make sure you have plenty of substrate for them to do so. Your substrate should be damp but not too wet. Coconut fiber substrate is commonly used to this type of tarantula.
Decor: Include hides to your spider for when they aren't underground
Water: Provide a shallow water dish and mist the enclosure as needed to maintain humidity.
